Take a look at Lucky’s pizza

Lucky’s Pizza, located on Meath Street, established eight years ago, is a pizzeria, bar, and yard open from 4 pm daily, 12.30 pm on Saturdays.   

Lucky’s offers an array of different draft drinks, cocktails, and wines as well as the pizzeria that’s in the yard aspect of the property, which has been a focal point of the establishment. 

Davitt Quigley, newly placed manager of Lucky’s, said, “The staff and customers are what make it so special. 

“It’s a bar for students, between two busy college campuses, in the heart of the Liberties.”  

Lucky’s hosts several events, from jazz nights every Wednesday from 8pm in the back of the bar; it also host art exhibitions every couple of months. 

“When it kicked off, it was a place for jazz to start, open mics were very popular, but since then, jazz nights have become very popular, I’d like to imagine we started a trend,” Quigley added. 

The bar takes table booking reservations along with walk-ins, providing a cosy environment to unwind and listen to some new artist.  

With a 15.9k social media presence on Instagram, Lucky’s is still growing and offering a space to support local musicians express themselves, from DJS to jazz artists, with each month bringing in new artists and marketers.
