Outcasts courtyard in Stoneybatter brings the heat

Outcasts occupies a Prussia Street courtyard and offers a coffee shop, pizza truck, a burger hut – and a sauna and plunge pool.

Outcasts started out three and a half years ago in Baldoyle as a shipping container that was cut open and turned into a coffee shop.

It moved to Stoneybatter in August 2022.

Outcasts evolved from coffee into a food courtyard that now features saunas and plunge pools. The pizza van and burger truck are not owned by Outcast, but have joined to make the courtyard a hidden gem at lunchtime.

The sauna became available in October 2023 and has been thriving since.

Outcasts’ Instagram describes it as, “A hot steamy oasis smack bang in the heart of North Dublin.”

Saunas are usually only seen in gyms in Ireland, but now we have started to see these outdoor saunas, both a trendy spot and a potentially useful alternative for teams and individuals for recovery after training and games.
