Camden Crawl Dublin returns this year during the May bank holiday weekend (3—5 May).
The two-day festival is sibling to the London Camden Crawl festival that has taken place every year in spring since 1995.
Following the debut of Camden Crawl Dublin last year, exciting new changes have been made which see Dublin as sole host of the festival this spring.
This year’s line-up boasts more than 150 of the coolest international and Irish acts and special guest hosts.
Some of the most anticipated acts to perform this year are Echo & The Bunnymen, The Black Lips, Holy Other, Dirty Beaches, Fionn Regan and Fight Like Apes.
Irish blogger Nialler9 will be hosting two stages in Sweeney’s with some of Ireland’s freshest artists including Adultrock, Ghosts, Liza Flume, Slow Skies and Terriers.
The acts will perform across 15 of Dublin’s finest venues from Camden Street to Temple Bar.
New additions to the festival this year include a live cutting edge comedy festival and a launch party on the eve of the event.
The festival’s launch party is to take place in Whelan’s on May 3 with performances from New Young Pony Club, Tropics and Big Deal. Tickets cost €20 for this event.
Camden Crawl London will take place at a later, darker time of year in October 2013; full details of the exciting changes are to be announced in coming weeks.
To get a better feel of what to expect a free downloadable 15-track mix-tape of bands playing this year is available online via 7Digital or at Meteor Camden MIXTAPE #2.
Tickets for the festival weekend are €55 for Saturday/Sunday or €35 per day plus fees.
