NCAD Fashion graduate Joanne Power is teetering on the verge of global recognition. The young Irish designer has recently received critical acclaim for her MA graduate collection which debuted at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum Tuesday last. Ms Power has loaned Lady Gaga three pieces from her recent collection, including two crepe silk evening dresses. The Irish designer now faces an anxious few days to see whether the songstress chooses to wear her designs at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards ceremony, which takes place this Sunday.
